Over time a horse’s ever-erupting teeth can become very sharp and/or develop hooks or waves that prevent proper grinding of their food. Pain from cuts or ulcers in their mouth, or an inability to chew their food properly can lead to weight loss.

As we are able to sedate our patients, we are able to perform a thorough dental examination and tooth file while limiting the stress and anxiety for horse and owner alike.

We can perform equine dentistry either on farm or in the horse crush in the stables of our new clinic. Please contact the clinic to arrange a time or for further information.
